St. Louis Fire Department Lifesaving Foundation

On March 5, 2009, St. Louis Fire Department Rescue and EMS personnel work together to rescue a man that fell 15 feet through a defective manhole cover into raw sewage.  It took approximately 1 hour to free him and get him in an ambulance.  He sustained no major injuries.
